New Business Plan gives lower charges to smaller units
Now is not the time to reduce security, vote yes to the BID
The Partnership is between Bolton Council & the businesses in the BID area:
We aim to create the right conditions for investment, growth & competitiveness
by reducing the effects of common issues that businesses face:
The capital costs of the scheme have been paid in full by Bolton Council &
other Public bodies with the ongoing running costs the responsibility of the
IEP BID Board who allocate all revenue funding. The development of the partnership
into a BID follows the successful running of members only scheme from July 2004-March
2006.

Keeping your business secure
On 1st December 2005 a Business Improvement District was declared after a
successful BID referendum and ran till April 2011.
A successful ballot was held in Jan 2011 to continue the Bid to 2016 but because
of a very narrow majority the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government
has ordered a revote. (Members please log in for full details or telephone the
BID team on 01204336140) The IEP BID was the joint first on an Industrial Estate

8 estates which are:
- Moses Gate
- Lyon
- Express
- Europa
